I recently engaged Ridetop Exteriors for a service, anticipating professional and transparent dealings. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by significant discrepancies in pricing and concerning interactions with their representative, Alex. Initially, I was quoted a comprehensive price of around $7800. This figure was later contradicted by a substantially higher final bill. Despite having written confirmation of the original quote, the company did not honor this agreed-upon amount. When I confronted Alex about this inconsistency, his response was dismissive. He stated that regardless of the situation, there would be a lien on my property, showing a lack of consideration for my concerns. This interaction, coupled with the initial misrepresentation of costs, reflects poorly on the professional standards of Ridetop Exteriors. It’s disappointing and unsettling when a business fails to uphold basic principles of transparency and customer respect. The Manager Brian Crawley did nothing to resolve this matter.

For Ridge Top was great.i would like to add the two installers, failed to properly clean behind them. i had to spend about an hour going through my house espically in the shower area. and i am glad i did . there was material concrete still on shower floor. by each window. they could of taken time and used there vacum or mine. thats my hang up. leave it as youfound it clean and debri free.

After the windows were installed I had all the siding replaced. Suffered interior water damage from leaky windows, and siding damage due to the high winds of Ian. A call to Ridge Top Exteriors hooked us up with Chip and Danielle, who came to our residence and surveyed the damage. They were very friendly and professional. They gave us a quick estimate and we signed the contract to have all the windows replaced and have the whole house resided. Jeff came to the house and took measurements of the 21 windows to be replaced. After some waiting due to a backlog in manufacturing the windows, Mike and Bryan arrived and installed the windows in less than three days. Again, they were very efficient and personalble. Jeff and Alec inspected the windows doing a few tweaks here and there. Soon after the windows were installed Scott came to the house to get the specs for siding and set a date for installation. Navidad and Jenfer installed the siding to the whole house in less than two weeks. They were two of the hardest working men I’ve ever seen. Scott stopped by a couple of times to see how things were progressing. The house looks better than when in was first built. We couldn’t be happier with the results.

I cannot speak highly enough of Ridge Top Exteriors. Ridge Top was not the only roofing company we received quotes from, but it was the only company that didn’t show up to just give us a marketing pitch. We worked with Kory Edwards, who was knowledgeable and willing to listen and discuss our needs. My wife and I have been burned by companies in the past (as I’m sure we all have), so we do our due diligence in verifying claims and marketing information. Everything lined up, and Kory was exceptionally patient with us as we asked him follow up questions. Lots of follow up questions. Every company needs a Kory.George and team took care of the roof replacement and we couldn’t have been happier with how it looks. George was very personable and great to work with, and he seemed to have a great team. There was an open line of communication throughout the roofing process, including pictures of progress. There was some very minor damage (small tear in our lanai screen and an outside light) which is inevitable, but Ridgetop chose to repair/replace both.I’ve never worked with a company so open and transparent with their process. End-to-end, Ridge Top Exteriors provided an excellent product and experience.

My experience with Ridge Top has been great! I had some gutters and windows done and everything went very smoothly from my initial inquiry to completing the job. Kory was our sales rep and has been so easy to work with, as well as everyone else that I've spoken to at the office and has come by to do work. They were very transparent, didn't try to sell me on anything extra that I didn't want or need, and have stayed in communication through the whole process. Our windows weren't supposed to come in till the very end of August, and they ended up receiving them early and installed them before they were originally scheduled to even arrive. Both jobs were done quickly, no mess left behind, and no issues with the work that was done. I cannot express how deeply disappointed I am with the services provided by Ridge Top Exteriors. My decision to hire them to replace my roof has proven to be an expensive and utterly regrettable mistake. Not only did they fail to address the initial leak over my garage, but their incompetence has led to a series of costly and aggravating consequences.When I initially contacted Ridge Top Exteriors due to a leak over my garage, I trusted their professional assessment that my entire roof needed replacing instead of a simple repair. Reluctantly, I paid a $18,000 for a new roof. However, my dissatisfaction began to mount shortly thereafter.The leak over my garage, the very issue that prompted the roof replacement, still persists. To add insult to injury, the leak caused significant water damage to my tankless hot water heater, rendering it completely useless. This is not a mere assertion; I possess documented evidence from a hot water heater technician confirming the damage was a direct result of the roof leak: "The tankless water heater has water spots on top, and the roof has visible water damage and appears to have leaked onto the water heater, causing it to burn out."But the problems didn't stop there. I've now had to replace two flat tires on my vehicle, both punctured by roofing nails scattered throughout my driveway. To make matters worse, my mother suffered an injury when a roofing nail went through her shoe and punctured her foot, requiring a costly visit to urgent care. The medical professional who attended to her and the mechanic who replaced my tires both confirmed that the nails were indeed roofing nails.When I attempted to address these issues with Ridge Top Exteriors and requested to speak with a manager, I was met with indifference and a shocking lack of accountability. Their response was dismissive and disheartening. I was told that they "aren't perfect" and that it is impossible to clean up the "thousands" of nails that can be left after a roof replacement. Moreover, their warranty, which supposedly only covers "the job they did," failed to provide any relief for the myriad problems their subpar workmanship had caused.In summary, my experience with Ridge Top Exteriors has been a financial nightmare. I am now out $18,000 for a roof that still leaks, an additional $680 for tire replacements, $3,000 for a new hot water heater, and $450 for an urgent care visit. Their refusal to take responsibility for the consequences of their work and their lack of commitment to customer satisfaction are appalling. I implore you to avoid Ridge Top Exteriors at all costs, as they have demonstrated through their own admission that they "aren't perfect" and consider it acceptable to leave a trail of nails and unresolved issues in their wake.PS. If a Ridge Top Exteriors representative reads this, since "all calls are recorded for quality assurance," I encourage you to listen to the call on 9/2/23 at 10:15 am EST to verify the appalling interaction with management that I am referring to. It's only fair that you confront the undeniable evidence of your dismissive attitude and lack of accountability before offering empty apologies or attempting to manipulate the facts to cover your company's reputation. Transparency and responsibility should be the cornerstones of any reputable business, qualities that Ridge Top Exteriors has woefully fallen short of in my unfortunate experience.

Out of all the contractors that came out to quote repairs after Ian Ridgetop by far worked the hardest to help us find a way to make our home whole again and that was just the sales rep! Once a deal was made it was a flurry of activity shortly after. All the workers on site were wonderful, professional, hard working and they cleaned up extremely well! Heaven forbid we get another storm and need more repairs I'm not even shopping for another contractor. I'll be calling Ridgetop first. I love my beautiful new hidden vent soffit! This was a great experience from start to finish. These guys helped me get a hailstorm claim through my insurance company by providing a very detailed inspection. They were also very quick to schedule and get the job completed. Once onsite it the roof was completed in 2 days including clean up and it is a huge roof. I would definitely recommend them.

Always check multiple sources for reviews. It has a high rating on google, but the project manager, Stelios Xydias, did nothing but pressure and swindle my husband’s mother into signing a contract right on the spot. Stelio only spent 15 minutes at most looking at the wall that needed repair, and then sat my MIL down for the next 2 hours trying to get her to sign a contract that was exorbitantly overpriced. When she told him she wanted her son present and to discuss it with him first, Stelios told her it wasn’t a good idea and encouraged her to not talk to him. He also told her, and I quote, “nobody gets multiple quotes before signing anymore, you’re gonna get a 50/50 chance of finding anything comparable to what we offer. And no one has the materials we use.” So I told my husband to call her, and the man immediately piped in and said condescendingly, “don’t worry I’m not pressuring your mom into anything! We got this.” And then not two minutes later, he sat her down and asked, and I quote, “so what would your son say if you signed this contract right now?” And when I told Stelios that we do not want to sign anything without discussing first, he tried to argue for several minutes and then threw in my face, and I quote, “okay go ahead! Go sit all day and think about it. Do whatever you want!!” In a mocking tone and continued to try to press for my MIL to sign. We told Stelios we are not comfortable trusting this company after how unethical he was.Also, another thing Stelios said to my MIL when she told him she wanted to wait and talk to her son first, he said, and I quote, “Don’t worry, you’re not that old, so you got a good head on your shoulders. Besides I most certainly wouldn’t be here if you were elderly.”So all in all, our experience was extremely uncomfortable, unethical, and a distinct overstepping of boundaries. We will never recommend or return to Ridge Top Exteriors for business.If this business was worth their weight in gold, (or in their case, that 4.6 stars), they would not have to resort to this type of behavior.

Honestly a pretty shocking experience. We didn’t even get to experience the work ethic that is raved about on here because of Stelios’ poor personal ethic. Nothing screams liar more than when someone has to tell you that they “don’t go to old ladies and scam them because the old ladies don’t know any better” (in summation). Someone who says that is bound to be doing it all the time. And this someone was Stelios’, who then proceeded to pressure my mother into signing a contract before she had any time to discuss or shop for quotes. He told her that “people don’t shop around for quotes” anymore”, and that she would be wasting her time if she did. What kind of straight up lie is that? Is that because you pressure others like that? Just look at the ratings on Yelp. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of the reviews on here are fake and written by this so called project manager after he snaps a few photos of the work completed (assuming this actually are photos of this company’s work). I was first notified of this by my wife as she noticed Stelios pressuring my mom unnecessarily. She had me on speaker phone and I heard how he tried to manipulate and pressure my mom into working with him and Ridge Top Exteriors. He lied and said that the product they would be using comes straight from Virginia (or West?) and that they were the only ones who had this precious vinyl siding. My mom then found it moments later on Lowe’s’ website in town. I called my mom after listening a bit and told her that she should tell Stelios that she needed a night to think it over. And before my mom had a chance to say anything, I’m comes Stelios, “you don’t gotta worry about anything, I’m not trying to scam your mom here. In fact I’m giving you a really good deal that you won’t find anywhere else”. I proceeded to talk with my mom and called my wife back. The first thing I hear in the background is Stelios saying “what if I got you to sign this contract without your son knowing”. What on earth is wrong with this guy. My wife then proceeded to confront Stelios and tell him that there won’t be any contract signing today and that he needed to leave. He still contested on leaving and said “what about my mom’s opinion?” To which my wife had to tell him to get leave again. And in comes Stelios’, “OOHHH YES, we can just think allll day about this, allll day long”. My wife had to kick him out. If it is true what Stelios goes around touting, is that your company is worth $35m, then I would highly suggest you look into investing into some better talent. Stelios holds the title of Project Manager with Ridge Top Exteriors, but he needs to work on managing his grimy tendencies. Please avoid being pressured into doing business with Stelios! *edited to clear up what my wife said to Stelios

All I can say is Ridge Top Exteriors team was superb from sales and customer service to installation. Gary Gordon was excellent to work with. Gary’s very knowledgeable about the products they use, as well as, the complete installation process. He answered all my questions in great depth. The day of the installation they should up on time and got right to it. In less than four hours they had my whole roof completed and all derby cleared from the property. Gary followed up a couple of days later to make sure everything went well and I was happy and satisfied with the final outcome of the project. I highly recommend Ridge Top Exteriors for all your home projects. I will definitely be using them again for my future home projects. Ridge Top Exteriors goes above and beyond to give an excellent customer experience. That’s become extremely challenging these days!

Of course, but all our concerns were promptly addressed by Mack, who was great at staying in touch throughout all phases of the project and all projects done in a timely manner. His calm demeanor and explanations helped keep me sane! To be honest, we were also pleasantly surprised that even Chris (sales) continued to check in with us through the all the stages to the end. Also, a shout out to Clebor and his crew-they always were respectful of our property, cleaned up after themselves daily & put up with our barking dogs! Kicking things off, their prices are high. I thought a higher price point would mean higher quality work, not exactly. While the soffit and fascia look well enough they broke three of my perennial plants and left debris all over my lawn. When I told them about all of this a guy said he would come pick up the debris (he did not). There are pieces of plastic, wood, nails, staples and screws thrown everywhere. I am sure I will be picking them up forever. I just hope my dogs bare feet aren't what find the nails and staples. Did they do the job? Yes. Did they do it well? No. I would not recommend this company, nor will I ever use them again.

I received from Ridge Top Exteriors a very well prepared letter about them doing repairs in the area, and that they could offer me a discount in roof repair because their equipment was already nearby. Upon asking where they were working, the sales person gave me evasive answers and changed the topic, and never told me where in the neighborhood they were working.From the get go their focus was on selling me the idea to replacing the entire roof, not on the specific repair needed.The sales person tod me that my roof had storm damage and that the insurance would cover it, and insisted that I should open a claim. So I did. And the insurance company rejected the claim. I called them back to understand why they would recommend to go through the insurance. I send them the claim denial letter. They said the would call me. Never heard back from them.All they want if to replace the entire roof. And by the way, according to their sales person, most of their work is done by sub-contractors, not in-house workers.I would not hire them.

I would like to comment on the soffit repairs Ridge Top Exteriors performed on my home in Bradenton, Florida. After being damaged by hurricane Ian, there was approximately 50 feet of soffit that needed replacement. Mack from R.T.E. came and from the very beginning was absolutely professional and helpful. He explained the work that needed to be done in terms my wife ani could understand and took the time to answer all of our questions. I have to say I am extremely impressed with Ridge Top Exteriors.Had a window emergency where our dog jumped through the front window forcing us to upgrade sooner than we planned. Ridge Top was there to fix up the window and help us with our long awaited project of replacing the front windows. From start to finish Matt and his team were fantastic. They were in contact with me through the entire process even while waiting on windows to come in, they made sure I knew any updates they had. The windows came in faster than expected which was a pleasant surprise.Once installed, the windows are beautiful and everything was cleaned up and taken care of in the end. We only did the windows in front of the house this time but will absolutely have Ridge Top finish the rest of the house when we're ready!

We had 9 storm windows installed as replacement for builder grade windows on the south side of our home. The windows were installed without any issues and they fit into place like a glove. The measurements were spot on.We love the look of the windows and we are looking forward to the harde board installation to take place after the window inspection.We will finish our review after the total job is completed.***UPDATE***After doing a wonderful job on the window project the Hardie Board siding project was a NIGHTMARE for us.First of all, Matt Patton the salesman incorrectly ordered the material needed for the job. The amount ordered was approximately 30% short. When the material was delivered to our home location I could tell that there was not enough of it to do the job. I immediately contacted Matt via text message and phone call but received no reply or answer. The next week 2 non-english speaking workers showed up to start the job. The old vinyl siding was removed from the front of the house and work placing shake siding was started on the 3 dormers. Well, 4 days later the dormers were still not completed and material needed to finish them was not available at the time. At the beginning of this project I was told the company only needed 5 days to complete the entire job. Moving on to the front porch, furring strip material needed to back up the Hardie Board was not available but work continued anyway placing on the siding without it. Myself, having a background in construction, I knew this was not acceptable and totally improper. I immediately reached out to Ridge Top and informed them of this big mistake. Ridge Top sent out a gentleman by the name of Johnny who introduced himself as a field manager. I explained the issue with Johnny who was clearly unaware of the proper installation of Hardie Board siding. Johnny, who was a bilingual person, informed the installers of my concern. The work continued anyway and more phone calls were made to Ridge Top after I became very upset about the unprofessional workmanship of the 2 installers and Johnny, the field supervisor. After the phone call, a company manager assured me that someone else would be out to the job site to see what was going on. Before the company manager showed up the installers ran out of material and left taking all of their equipment with them. I was told they would not return until more material was available for them to finish the job. The next day a very professional gentleman by the name of Ephraim from Ridge Top showed up and a company manager whom the name is not remembered but was also very knowledgeable and professional. Both of these gentleman recognized the big mistakes that were made during the installation of the siding by the subcontractor. Both gentleman assured me that the entire front porch siding and trim would be removed and reinstalled properly after more material was ordered.It must be brought to everyones attention that someone from this company tried to bring out left over lap siding material that was stored in Ridge Tops warehouse and painted gray pearl in an attempt to match the factory pre-colored Hardie Board siding that was originally ordered. Every piece of Hardie Board plank siding that is pre-colored from the factory comes individually wrapped for protection. When Johnny, the field supervisor, delivered more lap siding to the job site the paint was so fresh it started peeling off as he was unloading it from his truck and placing it in the driveway. I was so angry that Ridge Top would attempt to get away with this and install it on my house. Well, more phone calls were immediately made once again to Ridge Top managers and apologies were made to me. I was assured by Alec that the material would be picked up and replaced with new lap siding.This 5 day job turned into a 7 week job and finally completed after the correct amount of material was delivered and installed by an 8 man crew.A email was written to the company president Larry Gebhart but it was never acknowledged. This was a $42,605 job and a big disappointment.

I was pleased with the soffit and fascia replacement from Ridge Top Exteriors. The installation was finished in a timely manner and the clean up through. I appreciated the expertise of the crew. The communication and concern I received from Mack C. was top tier. The roof installation was also impressive. No short cuts were taken. I was kept in the loop of everything that was taken place. If something needed to be replaced they made sure it was done.
